The
Association offers Support Brokers the following:
We will help assess your current level of skills and competencies.
We will provide you with training you need and want.
We will provide mentoring, advice and guidance if you want it.
We will help with developing the plan and budget (we’ll sit
down with you and work through it step by step).
We will attend circle meetings if needed.
We will provide ideas about resources.
We will listen to you (act as a sounding board).
We will be available to you by phone and internet.
We will meet with you at the monthly coordinators meetings.
We will facilitate meetings if you need us to.
We may fill in for you when you are out of town or unavailable.
We will let participants of self-determination know that you
are available to act as coordinator and will give them information
about you.
We will make relevant information available with regard to self-determination,
planning, support coordination and related topics.
